A Centre of Juice Excellence
Our Cardiff site is a centre of excellence for ambient, chilled and mini fruit juice. Here we produce products in a wide range of formats for both our Princes brand and for customer own-brand contracts.
Our Cardiff manufacturing facility was acquired by Princes in 1993 and 200 colleagues work at the site.
We have recently invested over £60 million in our South Wales facility to future-proof our operations, to carry on delivering product innovation and to help us to achieve our sustainable environmental targets.
As a Centre of Excellence, Cardiff has revolutionised our processing and packaging capabilities across the juice market. Our site is a highly automated production facility with room for growth. We handle a high mix, high volume portfolio on flexible lines with continuous flow and everything is underpinned by our Operational Excellence program.
The site is operational 24/5 giving us a significant flexibility of production, and our production range includes both ambient and chill capabilities in a wide range of formats including from concentrate (FC) and not from concentrate (NFC) products. We also have a fully automated ingredient processing capability and a digitally enabled finished goods warehouse.
