I have worked for Princes as an Internal Recruiter for two years specialising in FMCG recruitment. Although I am part of the Central Recruitment Team I am based out of the Cardiff site which is a £60 million drinks factory.

I’m responsible for recruiting positions across the UK manufacturing sites and Liverpool Head Office. I recruit for a large number of functions at one time such as Finance, Marketing and Senior Managerial roles to name a few.

Each day I will review new applications, proactively source candidates and work with hiring managers to strategically source their vacancies. I’m responsible for the pre-screening of the candidates and ensuring that the job ticks boxes from their side as well as checking that they have the required experience.

At Princes, we pride ourselves on ensuring that candidates have a positive experience regardless of the outcome of their interviews which means that all candidates are updated on the status of their application.

From a process perspective we will source candidates, submit CV’s and telephone interview notes to the hiring manager, book interviews in and manage the candidate through the whole process including delivering any feedback or offer stages. We will also check in to ensure that paperwork has been issued and that candidates have a smooth onboarding process.

It’s very rewarding to match great candidates to exciting roles and to know that we are part of making Princes an even greater place to work. It is also great to see their careers progress.
