I’m part of the internal recruitment team at Princes and my role involves finding amazing people to join us in head office or across our eight UK manufacturing sites.

I review and assess candidates who respond to job adverts, determine suitability and schedule interviews. I’ll conduct pre-screening phone interviews in advance, which is a good chance to chat to applicants in more detail about a role.

I regularly meet with our hiring managers to discuss what roles they want to fill, advertise them and proactively source where necessary. Once a job has been accepted, I’ll make sure contracts are sent out.

Roles I recruit for are varied and can range from multi-skilled engineers for our sites to finance roles in head office.

Recently I’ve been supporting our Resourcing Manager Gemma Fallon at Liverpool University Careers Fair. We met lots of students and talked about the exciting career opportunities at Princes.

I joined Princes in September 2023 and was really impressed with the onboarding process. It was so good that I felt that I got to know the company straight away.

I work from home three days a week and the other two days are office based with the team. After being based remotely in my previous job, I’m really enjoying coming into the office and connecting with people.

What do I like about working for Princes? I’m proud to work for a household name and I love spotting our diverse range of products in the supermarket.
