Princes Group has today appointed Giuseppe Mastrolia as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
The transition comes as Simon Harrison departs the business following a successful five-year tenure with Princes Group, including the last two years as Chief Executive Officer.
During his leadership, Harrison has been instrumental in guiding the team through significant milestones, including the acquisition of Princes by NewPrinces in 2024 and the company’s transition to a publicly listed entity on the London Stock Exchange in October 2025.
Giuseppi Mastrolia now steps into the role, having served as Chief Commercial Officer since Autumn 2025. He first joined Princes Group in July 2024 as an Executive Board Director and has played a key role in the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy.
Prior to that, he spent nine years as Chief Executive Officer at NewPrinces.
With a wealth of knowledge, Giuseppe will bring strong executive leadership experience to the position.
Giuseppe Mastrolia, Interim CEO of Princes Group, said: “It is a privilege to lead Princes Group through this exciting transitional period. We have built an incredibly strong foundation over the past couple of years, and my immediate priority is to ensure seamless continuity as we navigate this next chapter together. We will remain focussed on delivering value to our shareholders, as well as leveraging our word-class manufacturing capabilities to produce and distribute great-tasting products that our partners and customers expect.
“Princes Group has built its reputation on quality and trust since openings its doors in Liverpool 140 years ago, and I am incredibly proud to step into role of interim CEO at such a pivotal time for the business, as we continue to invest in long-term sustainable growth.”
