Princes unveils “dynamic and active” set of values

I am delighted to share our new set of Values.

Our five new values are intended to define what good looks like or, in other words, the “Princes Way”, and we believe they provide the framework for all colleagues to achieve the best for themselves and for Princes.

The five Values are:

Where our old PRINCES values were simply a set of single words, our new values are deliberately more dynamic and active. They will shape the culture of our company, fostering a shared sense of belonging and an ambition to strive for excellence.

These new values are unique to Princes and, as such, we want them to become the DNA of our business, describing how each of us behaves and how we should expect our colleagues to behave towards us. We want to create a great community throughout Princes and these values will help us do this.

I am particularly proud that our new values were not created by management in isolation. Rather they were driven by clear and hard-hitting colleague feedback and then challenged and honed by our Values Champions who came from a broad cross-section of our business. So they were created by our colleagues, for our colleagues and thank you to everyone who played a part in this process.

There is no hierarchy to our new values. Each one is equally important. There is also an interconnection between each of the values.

Ultimately, the values that have been created will only mean anything if colleagues buy into them and live and breathe them in their roles within the business. That is why it was so important that they were created by colleagues, for colleagues.

We now look forward to rolling out our new values and, over the coming weeks and months, you will see each of our new values brought to life further through various exciting projects and initiatives.
